Hi, I'm Chizzy.

A Nigerian writer and brand storyteller working at the intersection of strategy and narrative. My writing has shaped national institutions — from Nigeria's eNaira CBDC to the Securities and Exchange Commission — and found its way into fiction, screenplays, crisis communications, and campaign content. I'm currently developing a psychological thriller.

The work below tells the rest of the story.

eNaira — Brand Communications Suite (Central Bank of Nigeria)

Form: Screenplay · Website Copy · Crisis Communications · Explainer Scripts · Year: 2021

As the communications lead on the full brand and digital launch of Nigeria's eNaira CBDC — Africa’s first central bank digital currency — I wrote 80% of all content for the eNaira website, scripted the 60-minute launch advertisement (shot across two locations), scripted two explainer videos, and authored the official unveiling ceremony script at direct CBN request. When the rollout was mismanaged and public sentiment turned sharply negative, I designed the response strategy and authored all templates for a 3-day crisis communications campaign — mobilising 1,000+ micro-influencers across Twitter, Facebook, and app stores. Within 72 hours, 60% of starkly negative views shifted to neutral and 35% of neutral views became positive.

SEC Nigeria — Digital Transformation Content (Securities and Exchange Commission)

Form: Website Content · Information Architecture · Institutional Copy · Period: Aug 2023 – Dec 2025

Over 28 months, I served as project and content lead for the full digital overhaul of the Securities and Exchange Commission Nigeria's website. I wrote, restructured, and approved all content across regulatory, compliance, enforcement, investor education, operator guidance, and institutional information sections. The redesigned site introduced user-segmented navigation, a FinTech and Innovation Hub (FinPort), integrated capital market data dashboards, and automated service delivery features. This is my longest and most institutionally significant single writing and content engagement.
